The sounds of Drums and Bugles will be loud and clear at Northern Illinois University After several changes, the NIU Football field will be ready to host the “Tour of Champions” on Saturday, July 13th at 7:00 PM – Seven (7) Drum & Bugle Corps will be entertaining.
Come to NIU's central campus for tons of STEM Fest activities! There are things to do in the Holmes Student Center, MLK Commons, Anderson Hall, Swen Parson and Founders Memorial Library. The Taste of DeKalb is a fundraising event hosted by the Kishwaukee Sunrise Rotary and includes a variety of food truck options, family friendly activities and live entertainment. Proceeds raised through sponsorships go towards an annual Community Grant for Children, Youth and Families of DeKalb County. There is no admission fee to attend the event but patrons will purchase their own food and drink items directly from the food trucks/vendors. This year’s bands include InFunktious and the Prissillas.
