The parade will start at DeKalb High School and go east on Dresser Road. It will then travel south on Wildflower Lane, circle around Tallmeadow Drive, go east on Heatherfield Lane, north on Daniel Lane, west on Dresser Road and then north on Pride Avenue and back to the high school.
The sounds of Drums and Bugles will be loud and clear at Northern Illinois University After several changes, the NIU Football field will be ready to host the “Tour of Champions” on Saturday, July 13th at 7:00 PM – Seven (7) Drum & Bugle Corps will be entertaining.

The Taste of DeKalb is a fundraising event hosted by the Kishwaukee Sunrise Rotary and includes a variety of food truck options, family friendly activities and live entertainment. Proceeds raised through sponsorships go towards an annual Community Grant for Children, Youth and Families of DeKalb County. There is no admission fee to attend the event but patrons will purchase their own food and drink items directly from the food trucks/vendors. This year’s bands include InFunktious and the Prissillas.
