Learn about the resources and servies that can support your success in the Week of Welcome Learning Commons Scavenger Hunt at Founders Memorial Library! This scavenger hunt will take you around the Learning Commons on the first floor of Founders Memorial Library where you will scan QR codes to watch short videos. Answer questions on the entry form and drop the form off at the Research Help Desk for your chance to win a $500 scholarship, available to undergraduate participants! Hop on a Huskie bus and join your friends at DeKalb’s Jewel-Osco for a live DJ, Freebies, Games, Prized and more! Make sure to wear your NIU Huskies gear and get ready for a fun late night at your local Jewel! Buses to Jewel-Osco will stop at the HSC, Northern View, Stevenson North, Grant North, Patterson Hall and Gilbert Hall approximately every 20 minutes from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Join the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences for a backyard cookout to welcome new and transfer students to campus. Games, music, and giveaways will be available. Hot dogs, chips, and soda will be provided, as supplies last. Limited vegan options available. Co-sponsored by the DeKalb Moose Lodge. In case of rain, activities will be held in the Cole Hall lobby.
